Terms & conditions
Who provides Hunter Watch
Hunter Watch is provided by Havilah Works Oy, a Finnish company (Business ID 3592163-5). Contact us at hello@havilahworks.com. These terms describe your use of the app and this website.
Using the app
Hunter Watch records hunting routes, moments and optional activity information on Apple Watch and displays saved hunts on iPhone. You need compatible devices, the relevant permissions and a paid subscription. Device and operating-system requirements are listed in the App Store. Features that use online services depend on those services and connectivity.
Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
The App Store purchase screen shows the applicable price, billing period, trial eligibility and renewal terms before you confirm a purchase. Apple handles payment. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless cancelled under the conditions shown at purchase. Manage or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. See Apple’s cancellation instructions. Refund requests for App Store purchases can be made through Apple; statutory rights remain unaffected.
Health and workout information
Hunter Watch displays and summarizes health and activity data recorded by Apple Watch through Apple Health. Readings and estimates may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided for personal tracking only. Hunter Watch does not provide medical advice, assess your health, or recommend workouts or exercise intensity. It is not intended for diagnosis, treatment or emergency monitoring.
Maps and use outdoors
Routes and maps may be inaccurate, incomplete or unavailable. Hunter Watch is not an emergency service, a land-access register or a source of hunting permissions. You are responsible for following applicable hunting laws, respecting landowners and other people, and using the app safely. Do not rely on the app as your only means of navigation or communication.
Your records and sharing
Your hunt records and photos remain yours. You must have the right to use and share any content you add. You decide whether to share a generated image and with whom. A shared map, route or photo may reveal locations. Keep appropriate device backups: the current app does not provide a hosted hunt archive. Deleting a diary entry does not delete a separately saved Apple Health workout.
App licence and third-party services
The app is licensed, not sold. The Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement applies where no separate custom app licence has been provided. Apple operates the App Store and Apple Health; RevenueCat supports subscriptions; Amplitude provides app usage analytics; Mapbox provides interactive mapping, with Apple Maps used in certain views. Their services are subject to their own applicable terms. See our privacy policy for data handling and analytics choices. Accepting these terms does not itself constitute consent to analytics where separate consent is required. Apple does not sponsor or endorse Hunter Watch.
Availability, changes and your rights
We may maintain, update or change the app. We will give appropriate notice of material changes affecting a paid service and respect any remedies required by law. No software or sensor is error-free, but these terms do not exclude liability or warranties that cannot legally be excluded. Your mandatory consumer rights, including rights concerning defective digital services, remain in force.
Questions and disputes
Contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem. Finnish law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Consumers can seek help from Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and may refer eligible disputes to the Consumer Disputes Board. These terms do not restrict your right to bring a claim before a competent court.
Updates to these terms
The date below identifies this version. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Changes do not retroactively remove rights attached to an existing purchase.
